2006 CAS Golf Scramble Tournament

Please plan to join your colleagues and friends for the 23rd annual Casualty Actuarial Society Golf Tournament. This year's venue will be one of Puerto Rico's most unique courses that provides dramatic views of the majestic El Yunque Rain Forest and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean on 15 holes.

The format for this year's event features the return of the four-person Scramble (no step aside!). This format allows each player in the group to tee off. The game continues by selecting the best spot to play the next shot. All players will play the next stroke from that spot, and play continues in this format until the ball is holed out.

You may construct your own scramble team. Individuals are free to register separately or in combination with other meeting attendees. In order to ensure fairness and allow for a truly competitive tournament, the net event will be run on 40% handicap-adjusted basis. Registrants should enter their most current handicaps (USGA Index) or average 18-hole score on the entry form. Please note that individual handicaps will be limited to a maximum of 40.

In addition to the prizes for the low teams (gross and net), we will again have contests for long drive (male and female) and closest to the pin (male and female). New this year will be a prize for the longest putt on a selected hole.

Entry Fee (Including Greens Fee, Cart and Buffet Lunch)- $185

The Golf Club is located at the resort so we should have time to join the Tuesday event on time.
