Read My Paper

I would like to second Ralph Blanchard comment on those whose
contribution to a discussion is simply "Read My Paper". My experience
with these exchanges is that the paper is usually not relevant to the
discussion and I drop it there.

I have no problem with people offering on of their papers on listserve
discussions, as long as they do some real discussion. Perhaps this
would increase the chance that the paper is relevant to the discussion.
