The preliminary report of the Joint CAS/CIA/SoA Task Force on Strengthening
Academic Ties is available on the CAS Web Site at
http://www.casact.org/academic/prerpt.htm. The document is linked directly
from the home page within the blue What's New box. There is also a link to
the document on the Members main page.

The preliminary report has been presented to and commented on by the CAS
Executive Council and Board of Directors. Now, we would like to receive
comments from the CAS members. All questions and comments are welcome as we
continue studying how to strengthen the ties between the academic community
and the actuarial profession.
