I understand the analagy, but could not disagree with it more. If the =
society is determining the pass mark based on the self serving interest as =
referred to below, it is only a matter of time until more serious =
corruption / mismanagement follows.....
We must hold the purpose of the examination process to a higher standard =
than maintaining our job security....such reference is very short sighted =
and serves no beneficial point....if it is the 100% truth, than it is only =
a matter of time before another organization takes the higher road, and =
has its designation replace FCAS, ACAS.
As for the debacle....I can only hope that full disclosure will follow AND =
that the list only grows. Otherwise, this could be the beginning of the =
end, or at least a very protracted legal proceeding (based on the =
discussion threads)

....yes, but that's not the only reason. We should keep in mind that just
because a large cache of fine diamonds is found in Africa doesn't mean =
that they
are all released into the market place at once. There are quotas on the =
number
of diamonds that come out of Africa each year.
