Employment and Unemployment [Discussion]

Abstract
It has been most encouraging to note that able actuaries have had the courage to submit papers to the several actuarial societies during recent years on various phases of social insurance problems which generally had not been included theretofore within the scope of actuarial investigation. It is most appropriate that a paper has been submitted by Mr. Williamson to the Casualty Actuarial Society, which society should be a leader in studies of all the forms of social insurance.
