Techniques of Financial Analysis

Abstract
This book focuses on financial analysis by viewing it as part of a system of management decisions and stressing an integrated concept of investment, operations, and financing. Although the book is written from the perspective of analyzing a manufacturing organization, the concepts are applicable to any enterprise including property/liability insurance companies. The tone of the book is set in the first chapter in which the author analyzes a business as a system of funds flows. The book not only presents techniques that can be used in financial analysis, but also offers excellent comments on the use of the techniques.
