2024 CSAF Scholarship Winners Announced

The Central States Actuarial Forum (CSAF) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 Scholarship.  They are:

Erika Roehrs

“My name is Erika Roehrs, a second year at Drake University. I am majoring in Actuarial Science with a minor in Spanish. I am active in various student organizations featuring Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, La Fuerza Latina, Student Fees Allocation Committee, and am a Zimpleman College of Business Student Intern. Aside from on-campus organizations, I am active in the Organization of Latino Actuaries as a student in the Rising Leaders Program. In my free time I love to spend time with my family and friends. My hobbies also include reading a good book, going to the gym, and trying new foods.”

Hannah LaMaster

“Hannah LaMaster is a sophomore at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln majoring in actuarial science and minoring in economics. She is the Treasurer of Gamma Iota Sigma and a member of the College Student Advisory Board, along with being a part of the Business Honors Academy. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at the Capital Humane Society or spending time outside.”

Ian Altekruse

“My name is Ian Altekruse, and I am a sophomore at Drake University from Naperville, Illinois. I'm studying actuarial science and data analytics and have passed two exams so far in my time here at Drake. In my free time, I serve as Treasurer of Drake Club Hockey and am also part of the Drake Actuarial Student Society. I look forward to continuing to develop my skills in the actuarial field and am currently looking for internship opportunities for this summer and in the future.”

Kyle Bracko

“I am a third-year actuarial science major at Maryville University in St. Louis and play on their D2 ice hockey team. I was born in Calgary, Canada and grew up in Switzerland. I enjoy spending time in the mountains and listening to country music. I am excited to intern at Willis Towers Watson in the summer.”
