Call for Proposals – the 2024 CAS China Insurance Summit

China Summit 2024

The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) announces that the third annual China Insurance Summit taking place in Hangzhou, China on September 6, 2024. This will be a hybrid event, attracting actuaries, academics, and general insurance professionals from all over the world. Registration for this event will open in the coming weeks.

We are now accepting proposals for engaging presentations on matters currently impacting the general insurance market. In-person presentations are preferred, but virtual sessions may also be considered. Sessions may be conducted in Mandarin or English.

Topic Suggestions:

The following topics are encouraged, but presentations on other relevant subject matters are also welcome.

  • AI-related Issues
  • EV-related Issues
  • C-Ross/Solvency
  • Reinsurance/CAT Risks
  • IFRS-17

Proposal Requirements:

The proposed sessions should be 30 minutes total with at least 10 minutes reserved for participant Q&A.

Submissions will be accepted via this online form through July 6, 2024.
