COVID-19 Exam Rescheduling Procedure
Updated: November 16, 2020
CAS values the health and safety of our candidates and encourages all candidates to monitor their health in accordance with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and the Pearson VUE Coronavirus webpage.
If you meet any of the four situations on the Pearson VUE Coronavirus webpage that requires you to reschedule your exam, the candidate should contact Pearson VUE to cancel the exam as soon as possible. The candidate should then contact CAS Administrative and Customer Support at ACS@casact.org to request a refund or explore the possibility of rescheduling the exam.
The CAS will work with affected candidates to reschedule the exam for the first available date within the exam window of November 19 to December 9, 2020, in accordance with Pearson guidelines. If the first available testing date is outside of the current exam window, the exam window will be extended until December 31, 2020. The 2020 fall exam sitting will conclude on that day. If the candidate is unable to reschedule the exam prior to December 31, 2020, the exam registration will be refunded.
If your circumstances have changed and you feel uncomfortable sitting for your examination, you can also request a refund. If you have already scheduled an exam time with Pearson, you must cancel your appointment.
Please note that any refunds given as the result of the above circumstances would be an exception to our current refund policy.
