New Content Outlines Available for Exams 7 and 9

The CAS is pleased to announce the publication of the new Content Outlines (formerly referred to as Syllabi) for Exams 7 and  9, as outlined in the Admissions Transformation Plan (ATP). The new content outlines enable candidates to begin their preparations for the new exams. Candidates preparing for the May 2024 sitting of Exams 7 and 9 should refer to these new content outlines.

The release of the new Content Outlines for Exams MAS-I, MAS-II and 5 was completed in 2022. The Content Outline for Exams 6 and 8 will be released later this year. Candidates studying for Exams 6 and 8 this fall will still refer to the Exams 6 and 8 2023 Syllabi.

Please note, the new Content Outlines will live on the exam landing pages, which can be accessed through the Exams Admissions navigation drop down menu on the CAS website. Visit the dedicated ATP webpage for a timeline of other changes to expect in the coming years.
