Results of 2020 CAS Election
Balloting for the 2020 CAS election closed on August 31, 2020.
Kathy Antonello has been elected President-Elect.
Kris DeFrain, Alejandra Nolibos, Erika Schurr, and Geoff Werner have been elected to the Board of Directors.
According to the election procedures approved by the Board, all vote counts are released to the membership. These follow:

In addition, the proposed CAS Constitution and Bylaws amendments that would allow five-year Associates to vote in CAS elections for President-Elect and Board of Directors were approved, with 69.9% of those casting a ballot on the measure voting to approve. Constitution and Bylaws changes require an affirmative vote from 10% of the Fellows or two-thirds of the Fellows voting, whichever is greater. The vote counts on the amendments are as follows:
Approve: 1,293 (69.9%)
Do Not Approve: 558 (30.1%)
A total of 1,928 Fellows voted (33.3%), as compared to 1,948 Fellows last year (33.9%).
Finally, the Board appointed Sean Kevelighan, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Insurance Information Institute (III), to replace Brad Monterio as an appointed director. Jodie Slaughter and Talithia Williams were re-appointed as non-member directors.
Congratulations to the new President-Elect and Board members. These members will assume their positions at the close of the 2020 Annual Meeting in November.
