Sean Kevelighan Appointed to CAS Board of Directors for One-Year Term
Arlington, Va. – October 8, 2020 – The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) announces the appointment of Sean Kevelighan, president and chief executive officer of the Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I), to its Board of Directors for a one-year term that begins in November 2020.
Kevelighan is chief executive officer of the Insurance Information Institute, the trusted source of information, analysis and referral concerning insurance. He has previously served as group head of public affairs for Zurich Insurance Group where he oversaw government and industry affairs as well as corporate responsibility. He has also served in various public sector posts in Washington, D.C. including as a political appointee in the administration of President George W. Bush.
James Christie, chair of the CAS Board of Directors said, “Sean’s extensive experience in the insurance industry will provide important contributions to our board deliberations. Kevelighan joins Talithia Williams and Jodie Slaughter as appointed CAS directors who are not actuaries and are not members of the CAS.
