Update: CAS Portal Launch and System Outage Reminder

Dear CAS Community,

As we prepare for the launch of the new CAS Portal, our new and improved e-commerce platform and user database, we want to provide important updates to ensure a smooth transition:

Key Details

  • System Outage Starting January 1, 2025:
    • The CAS Portal is scheduled to go live in late January 2025.
    • To allow for the migration to the new system, the current system will be temporarily offline for several weeks starting January 1, 2025.
    • During this outage, users will be unable to access their records, register for events, or purchase products.
  • Last Day for Transactions in 2024:
    • You can still register for events and webinars, and make UCAS purchases, through December 31, 2024.
    • Starting January 1, registration will pause, and waitlists may be available for some events. Notifications will be sent as soon as registrations reopen in late January.
  • CE Certification Deadline – December 31:
    • Don’t forget to attest to your Continuing Education (CE) compliance by December 31, 2024. The system outage in January will prevent access to the CE attestation process during this period.
  • Dues Payments Encouraged Prior to December 31:
    • By submitting dues payments before the deadline, you will:
      • Ensure your membership is active and in good standing.
      • Avoid any delays or disruptions to your account during the transition period.

Exam Candidates:

    • Due to the migration period to the CAS Portal, registration for April/May 2025 exams will utilize a phased approach to minimize disruption for candidates. This is a one-time change being made in order to accommodate the launch of the CAS Portal.
    • Candidates will receive additional communication in early January regarding the phased registration.
    • October/November 2024 exam results and other records will remain accessible until December 31, 2024.
