Update on Registration Window for French Versions of CAS Upper-Level Exams

The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) has an important update regarding the availability of the French versions of our upper-level exams (Exams 5, 6C, 7, and 9).

To align with demand and resource planning, the registration window for the French versions of these exams will be shortened. Candidates interested in sitting for a French version of any upper-level exam must register by Friday, February 14, 2025.

This adjustment is being made due to low demand for the French versions during the last sitting, which necessitates careful allocation of resources to ensure an efficient and effective examination process.

Please note that this change does not affect the availability of the English versions of the exams nor the MAS exams in either language. The registration deadline for the French version of MAS-I and MAS-II exams, as well as for all other exams in English, will remain the same and close at 11:59pm ET on March 25, 2025.

Applicable candidates should complete their registration as soon as they are eligible and notified by the CAS during the phased registration process to secure their seat. If candidates have any questions or require assistance, please contact the CAS at office@casact.org.
