Urgent Call for Volunteers: Be An Actuary Day with Penn State University

The Casualty Actuarial Society and the Society of Actuaries need your help to inspire the next generation of actuaries!

We are looking for passionate actuaries to volunteer at Be An Actuary Day at Pennsylvania State University – Penn State Great Allegheny. Volunteers will have the chance to share their experiences and help high school students explore the exciting opportunities in the actuarial profession. This half-day event will be fun, interactive, and a great opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future careers of these students.

This event is designed to expose diverse high school students to the actuarial profession, helping them learn about this math-based career path at an early point in their academic journey. By volunteering, you will play a crucial role in addressing one of the major barriers that prevents students from entering the profession – lack of awareness about the actuarial field early on.
