Volunteer Opportunity: Help Develop a Reinsurance Case Competition!

CAS volunteers needed

The CAS Case Competition Task Force is currently seeking short-term volunteers to assist in the creation of a new case competition toolkit focused on Reinsurance. The Task Force is dedicated to developing and maintaining property and casualty case competition materials for universities, which include case studies, data workbooks, and introductory presentations. 

By volunteering, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the next generation of actuaries. Case competitions provide students with practical actuarial experience in a fun and competitive environment, and your contribution will help shape their learning journey. 

Key Details: 

  • Timeline: September - November 

  • Time Commitment: 4-6 hours per month 

  • Goal: Create a new Case Competition Toolkit in time for the spring semester
