We encourage candidates to indicate their ethnicity, gender, disability and veteran/armed forces status in their member profile if they are not already doing so. This information is not displayed publicly in the online directory, and the data is only used in the aggregate and not on an individual basis. The purpose of gathering this information is to improve the reporting of diversity metrics. Additionally, this data will be used to monitor the effectiveness of CAS diversity enhancement activities, such as programs supported by the CAS/SOA Joint Committee on Inclusion, Equity and Diversity.
