Valuation of the Death Benefits Provided by the Workmen's Compensation Law of New York

Abstract
The problems raised by the subject of this paper are those which are of longstanding interest to the profession and go back to the very infancy of this society. In fact this paper is the latest of a series of the same title, the first, by Mr. W.W. Greene having appeared in Volume I of the Proceedings thirty-four years ago. In order to simplify the task so that nontechnical people could value cases as well as to insure uniformity the Workmen's Compensation Board has bad prepared tables to value certain benefits under the NY Workmen's Compensation Law.
