New Waiver Available for PCPA Exam and Project

The CAS Board of Directors recently approved a waiver recommendation for CAS Institute (iCAS) CSPA credential holders who are pursuing the ACAS designation.
The Property and Casualty Predictive Analytics (PCPA) exam and project will be a required component for earning the ACAS certification starting January 1, 2026. ACAS candidates who already hold a CSPA from iCAS may be eligible for a PCPA waiver. The CAS has released new details regarding the waiver:
Individuals who pass the iCAS CSPA Exam 3 Predictive Modeling – Methods and Techniques and the CSPA Case Study Project are eligible for a waiver for the PCPA exam and project. In order to be eligible for this waiver, candidates must pass CSPA Exam 3 and not obtain credit through an exam waiver.
This is an addition to the previously approved waiver for Data and Insurance Series Course - Introduction to Data and Analytics (DISC DA):
Candidates who pass CSPA Course 2 (Data Concepts and Visualization) are eligible for a waiver for CAS DISC DA.
