To better serve our candidates, we are pleased to announce an extension of the PCPA transition date from November 1, 2025, to January 1, 2026.
This additional time provides candidates with the remainder of 2025 (including the October 2025 exams) to complete any final exams and/or requirements before PCPA becomes a required component for earning the ACAS certification. Click here to read the full announcement.
Note About Registration
The CAS recently introduced the CAS Portal, our new and improved e-commerce platform and user database. You will need to follow the instructions below to update your account in the CAS Portal, if you have not already, in order to register for an exam.
As an active exam candidate, you had a CAS account in our previous system. Please use this link to access our new system. The first time you log into the new system you will have to reset your password, set up multi-factor authentication, and update your personal and professional profile, which will take about 15 minutes.
To update your profile, you must go screen-by-screen in order and hit “Update or Confirm” in each section until you see “Profile Update Successful” before completing other transactions. Please refer to these instructions for logging into the CAS Portal for the first time. You can also visit our FAQ on the new system if you have questions. Once you’ve completed these steps, you may register for your exam by scrolling down to Administrations and selecting Register for An Exam.
Check out the CAS Candidate Frequently Asked Questions page for more exam registration information.
Visit the Pearson VUE/CAS website for more candidate resources.
Study Kits are available for purchase on the CAS Portal under the Bookstore tab.
Visit the CAS Exam Accommodations webpage to learn more about exam accommodations and/or requesting an religious/national holiday exam extension.
Important note about Exam Discounts for Assistance Qualified Countries: The process for securing these discounts has changed. If you are a full-time resident of a qualified country, you will now need to request a registration code for each exam sitting. Please review the details about this program on the CAS website before registering for an exam.
