Call for Papers for the Actuarial Society Malaysia (ASM)-CAS Joint Seminar 2024

Actuarial Society Malaysia (ASM) and the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) are once again joining hands to organise the ASM-CAS Joint Seminar! The aim of this seminar is to bring together different perspectives about risk, from the insurance industry and beyond.

Subject areas may include:

  • Artificial Intelligence: Use cases, Implementation, ethical considerations, Impact to actuaries, explainability and communications, regulations etc.
  • Sustainability: Reporting, Green products, and concrete steps that (re)insurers can take
  • Inflation and other economic uncertainties: How (re)insurers can mitigate the problems faced by consumers, workers, and the industry.
  • Emerging Risks: New Energy Vehicles, De- globalisation, Cyber risks, Marijuana. Professionalism
