Call for Presentations for the 2026 CAS Ratemaking, Product and Modeling Seminar

The Ratemaking, Product and Modeling Seminar Working Group (RPMSWG) issues the Call for Presentations for the 2026 RPM Seminar scheduled for March 16-18, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois.

Speakers are expected to travel in-person to the meeting to present. General sessions will be 75 minutes long. Concurrent sessions will be 60 minutes long. Roundtables will be 50 minutes long.

We are highly seeking sessions for a new Leadership track.

We are also looking for sessions in the following key areas:

  • Advanced Ratemaking Models
  • Analytics that Shape Company Strategy
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Bias in Insurance
  • Correlation with Categorical Variables
  • International Actuarial Topics
  • Leadership & General Business Skills
  • Machine Learning Basics
  • No-Fault Insurance Transition in Canada (British Columbia)
  • Nondiscriminatory Rating Topics
  • Predictive Analytics
  • Product Management/Product Pricing
  • Using Vehicle History or Telematics in Ratemaking
  • View From the “Other” Side: What Do You Want Every Actuary to Know? (Underwriters, Lawyers, Regulators, etc. – How they view and interact with Actuaries)
  • What’s New in Accounting?

The 2026 proposal reviewers will also pay particular attention to the following criteria:

  • Sessions with interactive components such as case studies or group discussions.
  • Informative and relevant, with clear and immediate application to the work of audience participants.

We are looking for sessions that focus more deeply on a narrow topic that will help the audience leave the session with solid understanding and useful applications
