CAS Members to Present at 57th Actuarial Research Conference
This week CAS members will join an array of actuarial science experts promoting education, research and interaction within the industry at the 57th Actuarial Research Conference (ARC). The ARC is one of the premier annual events for actuarial scientists in North America to meet and discuss research problems and solutions in all areas of actuarial practice. The conference is hosted by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and takes place August 3 through August 6, 2022.

Thursday, August 4, 2022
Brian Fannin, ACAS, CSPA, CAS research actuary, will present “Beyond Excel: A Critical Examination of the Actuarial Toolkit.”
Friday, August 5, 2022
Ken Williams, FCAS, CAS staff actuary and Roosevelt Mosley, FCAS, CSPA, principal and consulting actuary with Pinnacle Actuarial Resources and CAS president-elect, will present “Race and Insurance Pricing Research – Exploring Discrimination, Disparate Impact, and More.”
Roosevelt Mosley, FCAS, CSPA, principal and consulting actuary with Pinnacle Actuarial Resources and CAS president-elect, will also address the conference as a banquet speaker.
