Grade in Vegas this Spring!
The CAS Admissions Department is currently recruiting for graders this spring. Come join us in Las Vegas for an opportunity to give back to the actuarial profession, as well as network with other experienced actuaries in a smaller setting! Each of the following exams is looking for an additional 10-15 graders.
Exam 5 (Basic Ratemaking and Estimating Claims Liabilities)
Exam 6C (Regulation and Financial Reporting Canada)
Exam 6U (Regulation and Financial Reporting US)
Exam 7 (Advanced Estimation of Claims Liabilities)
Exam 9 (Risk Management for Actuaries)
Volunteer Criteria:
- FCAS designation required.
- ACAS designees may contribute to Exam 5 or Exam 6 but are restricted from sitting for any exam for three years thereafter.
Grading Summit Information:
- Dates: May 11-13
- Venue: Sahara, Las Vegas, NV
- Training is provided, and there will be some virtual work before and after the summit.
Participating as an exam grader not only supports the CAS's mission to advance actuarial science but also contributes to our strategic goals of fostering skill development and reinforcing our differentiated brand.

Graders are expected to participate in the grading summit in Las Vegas, NV May 11-13, and while in-person grading is strongly preferred, virtual grading is an option as well.
