Media Advisory: CAS Annual Meeting
WHAT: Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) Annual Meeting & Live Stream Sessions
WHO: Insurance professionals of all levels, including actuaries, predictive modelers, product managers and underwriters. Members of the press are welcome to attend sessions both in-person and via live stream and are asked to register in advance with Kate Niswander, CAS marketing and communications manager, at 703-276-3100 or kniswander@casact.org.
WHERE: Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada, or remotely via the Internet webcast and live stream on November 12 and 13.
WHEN: November 11-14, 2018. Please note that all times are Pacific.
WHY: To discuss industry trends and emerging issues in property and casualty insurance, predictive analytics and risk management.
The meeting will consist of four general sessions as well as concurrent sessions. Five sessions will be made available for remote viewing via live stream on Tuesday, November 13. Topics to be addressed at the meeting include predictive analytics and data science, cyber security, emerging claims issues, captive insurance, automated vehicles, climate change risk and more.
