Call for Volunteers - Online Course for Actuaries in Vietnam

The CAS is currently developing an online course for actuaries in Vietnam. As part of the course, we plan to translate most of the Exam 5 ratemaking (Werner & Modlin) and reserving (Friedland) study notes into Vietnamese. There is a great need to develop P&C actuaries in Vietnam and this exciting project will have long-lasting benefits for the country.

In undertaking the translation, we would greatly welcome assistance from any CAS members who have a knowledge of Vietnamese. We expect help from Vietnamese insurance professionals in this cooperative project and plan to split up the translation work so that it will not be a significant burden on anyone. Even the translation of a small number of pages would be appreciated.
