CAS ATP Announcements Coming Soon!
As we head into the busy end-of-year season, the CAS recognizes that it may be difficult to stay informed about forthcoming updates being implemented through our Admissions Transformation Plan (ATP), so we are providing a preview at this time.
CAS Exams MAS-I, MAS-II, and 5 are the first to go through the ATP and the upcoming announcements are directly related to these exams. The remaining exams will subsequently go through the ATP after Exams MAS-I, MAS-II, and 5 are launched. For more information on timelines, please visit the Admissions Transformation Plan webpage.
The important forthcoming announcements, which will be sent via email in the coming weeks, include:
- Announcement about Domain Changes to CAS Exams MAS-I, MAS-II, 5
This announcement will publish the domain-level topics and associated weights for updated versions of CAS Exams MAS-I, MAS-II, and 5, which are anticipated to be updated for the Fall 2023 administration.
Domain changes announcements for Exams 6-9 are anticipated to be available in 2023.
- Content Outline Informational Announcement for CAS Exams MAS-I, MAS-II and 5
This announcement will detail the similarities and differences between syllabi and content outlines, as the CAS moves forward in updating all syllabi to the content outline format. Exams MAS-I, MAS-II, and 5 content outlines will be in effect starting Fall 2023. Exams 6-9 will transition to content outlines iteratively after Fall 2023.
- Announcement of Content Outlines for CAS Exams MAS-I, MAS-II and 5
This announcement will provide candidates with the new content outlines for CAS Exams MAS-I, MAS-II, and 5 to enable candidates to begin their preparations for the new exams, which are anticipated to launch in fall of 2023.
Content outlines for Exams 6-9 are anticipated to be available in 2023.
