CAS Seeking Three Volunteers for Fall 2024 Exam Pre-Testers for Exam 6-Canada

Volunteers Needed

The Exam 6C (Regulation and Financial Reporting, Canada) working group is looking for three volunteers to perform the role of Pre-Tester to review the exam for the Fall 2024.

A Pre-Tester may be a top performer from a recent exam sitting or other qualified volunteer and has passed Exam 6C within the past five years. We need three pre-testers for each of the following domains:

  • Domain A Regulation of Insurance and Canadian Insurance Law: 3-6 hours
  • Domain B Canadian Government and Industry Insurance Programs: 2-4 hours
  • Domain C Canadian Financial Reporting, Solvency, and Professional Responsibility of an Actuary: 8-18 hours

There will be a Pass Mark Panel (PMP) taking place in August/September 2024, exact date TBD.  Overall time commitment includes the breakdown per domain, plus the PMP meeting, which takes place over one day, ideally in-person.
