Coming Soon: New CAS Portal – Launching January 2025
The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) is excited to announce the upcoming launch of the CAS Portal, our new and improved e-commerce platform and user database. Designed to better serve the needs of the CAS community, the CAS Portal will provide a cleaner, more intuitive interface, advanced tools, and enhanced functionality to simplify your online interactions with the CAS. This includes registering for exams and events, paying dues, volunteering, and much more. Developed in collaboration with Cobalt, a trusted provider of Microsoft Dynamics-based systems, the CAS Portal will ensure advanced security, reliability and improved user experience for all members. The Portal is set to go live in late January 2025.

To prepare for this transition, a planned system outage will begin January 1, 2025, to allow for the migration to the new database. While the system is offline, users will temporarily be unable to access records, register for events and exams, access UCAS recordings or the CAS Community groups. Recognizing the importance of minimizing the impact of the interruption, we are implementing a phased approach to accommodate registration for April/May 2025 exam candidates; additional details will be provided to candidates closer to the system coming on-line. Purchases and record access, including, if applicable, October/November 2024 exam results, will remain available through December 31, 2024. You will receive an email when the CAS Portal goes live containing instructions for logging in and information on other new features.
