A new paper has been published on the Variance website:

“Individual-Level Loss Reserving and Environmental Changes” by A. Nii-Armah Okine

Macro-level models are still popular methods for reserve prediction. This paper advocates for increased implementation of micro-level reserving models and shows that micro-level reserving methods could easily accommodate environmental changes.
