Registration for the upcoming October/November 2024 exams will open on August 5, 2024. Additional information can be found on the Exam Registration webpage.

The Exam 6C (Regulation and Financial Reporting, Canada) working group is looking for three volunteers to perform the role of Pre-Tester to review the exam for the Fall 2024.

Thank you to all candidates who participated in the April/May 2024 exam administration. Candidates who took Exams 5, 6-United States, 6-Canada, 7, and/or 9 can expect to receive their results on Tuesday, July 23.

CAS candidates sitting for exams on May 1 were affected by a production issue at Pearson VUE centers that disrupted their exams.

As CAS admissions leadership and staff work diligently with psychometricians to release the April/May results by the end of July, we understand that candidates have questions as to why results are delayed.

On May 1, 2024, many Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) testing candidates at several test sites across the Pearson VUE network experienced exam delivery disruptions and complications.

In response to candidate feedback, the CAS has updated the new item type samples on the Pearson VUE/CAS website.
